Ellie Nutt
Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist
Meet Ellie
I'm Ellie, founder of Shoreline Physiotherapy and a Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist passionate about helping people recover from injury, reduce pain, and get back to doing what they love.
Sporting Background
Sport has always been a big part of my life. I started as a competitive gymnast before moving into swimming, where I competed and medalled at a national level. My sporting background gave me a real appreciation for injury rehabilitation and inspired my career in physiotherapy.
Education
I hold a BSc (Hons) in Sports Therapy and an MSc in Physiotherapy. During my Sports Therapy degree, I completed a two-year placement with Cheltenham Town Football Club, gaining valuable experience working within an elite sporting environment.
As part of my Physiotherapy degree, I completed placements across the core areas of physiotherapy, including musculoskeletal physiotherapy at the Police Rehabilitation Centre, stroke rehabilitation, paediatrics, mental health, and pulmonary rehabilitation. I am HCPC registered and a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy.
Clinical Experience
Following qualification, I completed rotational posts within the NHS before undertaking specialist Musculoskeletal (MSK) rotations. During this time, I worked alongside specialist physiotherapists in a range of areas, including spinal conditions and persistent pain.
I then moved into private practice, where I continue to work part-time alongside an experienced team of physiotherapists. This enables me to help people recover from a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions while continually developing my clinical knowledge and skills.
Shoreline Physiotherapy
I founded Shoreline Physiotherapy to create a welcoming clinic where people can access expert, personalised care in a peaceful lakeside setting. My approach combines hands-on treatment with tailored rehabilitation to help you move confidently, reduce pain, and achieve your goals.
